Austin Community College has partnered with Sun Microsystems to offer this Solaris course. It is a hands-on Unix systems administration training with a focus on the Solaris 10 operating system. The course is available to everyone, from beginners to the more experience level users. For students that are new to Unix, it provides a moderate pace for learning with plenty of hands-on training. For veterans in the field or administrators that need additional training, it offers lots of hands-on practical instruction on more advance topics such as NIS, NFS, Volume Manager, etc all at a reasonable price.
